Forums - Sony - Who eles thinks killzone 3 SHOULDN'T be accesible........

and remain hardcore, I do, I loved the feeling killzone 2 had b4 the 1 patch to rule them all was released. I think an accesible killzone would ruin the game (noob flood) see killzone falls into the tacticle, strategic, and highly skillful range when it came to type of fps. Also, it REQUIRED teamwork, clans were so beast in killzone 2. Which means if it's accesible (noob friendly) the flood gates will scream open, seeing the controlls were the ONLY thing holding it back.

i agree, 100%
dont change killzone, its amazing how it is! (better before the update)

Maybe so, but they do need cash, so if more mainstream means more money, then why wouldn't they (at least consider to implement both set-ups)

I absolutely disagree.

It should be played by as many people as possible. A small hardcore base won't keep the game going for ever and if you really want to play strategic, go play in a clan. It's clan system is perfect.

Also even the highly skilled will be repelled by it if there's only other highly skilled players to play against.

There was nothing wrong with the game before the patches and there's certainly nothing wrong with it after the patches. About a week ago I tried playing it's singleplayer again and I discovered how slow the singleplayer actually plays compared to my current multiplayer settings.

how was it before the patch?
i like it as it is now, it actually feels natural.

AHHHH that shit boils my blood....... I'm  not mad at you dude, but you are so right and that sucks so much ass. Why must hardcore fps die out for these noob games. Why are gamers in no way willing to become hardcore. You know, no one is willing to step outside the box and it's the only way games will advance and move foward. God i wish people would try, just try to put some skill and thinking into the fps they play. Think about how far the genre would go if the skillful, meaning shooters became the norm. I don't hate call of duty but i'm starting to hate what it's doing.

Yeah it's hard and yeah it will take a lot of time but everyone had to do it. I didn't one day wake up and was just instantly good at battlefield, killzone, teamfortress, socom, etc. That shit took time....... A LOT of time. You know what, I think every should stop with the it's all about me, and start teaming up in game designed for hardcore teamwork, and if you can't get into a team which should be impossible, all you have to do is ask, "I'm new to this"...... that's all it takes, you will get many clan request with people just ginuwily willing to show you the ropes. I've seen it happen in many hardcore, said to be impossible games. And if you wanna go at it alone, then do that, but play the game, do what's asked, that will be harder but you will become a much better player....... I'm really starting to shed a tear for the genre I love the most.

If your a lonely noob, and feel intimidted when your playing skillful game , you get slaughtered, can't get into the controlls or atmosphere, stop right there, take deep breaths, before you go awol and start blaming everything eles, know that is is you not the game that's punishing you, you know what i take that back, it is the game trying to punish you, but it's for a reason little nooblet, it so you can actually improve and believe me it makes you a much better player. I wanna see MAG do really really well, it one of those games. Killzone as well............ and socom and warhawk.

maybe one day........ maybe.............. hopefully. I can still dream right?

What the boss said. Skilled players are no fun to go against lol.

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

that is the wrongest(word?) statement ever. There is nothing skillful gamers love more than a challenge. I actually really honestly Dont perfer games where my team absolutely dominating. In battlefield 2 where my team is rapeing and I see the oppsing team start to capture a flag, I wont go for it. there is nothing I love more than a close hardcore match to the finish. thoes wins come far more rewarding when you win. My clan would dominate a team in killzone 2 7-0. wouldn't even care, but the 4-3 matches that were really intense always get a rematch. We love other hardcore players, and while dominating is welcome (espically for trash talkers) the close games with people of high skill level are the best. I can't explain it.....
