He's right.  The sales for Rayman Raving Rabbids, Shaun White's Snowboarding, and Tiger Woods 10 are much worse for the Wii. 

The original PSX should have been a piece of crap since it didn´t have the filtered and "high resolution" graphics that PC with 3D cards had.

the PSX was generally regarded a big step for consoles because it did the first good 3d graphics (yes i know the cd 32 did it first  with gloom etc lol, but theat died fast).

@Op, IDK where you get that sentiment from. The wii isn't as discussed doesn't mean its hated. It's just ignored for the most part on gaming sites but it sure is advertised a lot in the mainstream. Wasn't that nintendo's goal anyway? PS3 has probably always been the most discussed and most hated console. This is a result of gross underperformance on its part relative to ps2.

As for the wii, everyone has simply accepted it's victory which relied on a demographic that doesn't browse game sites as much or at all so journalists don't discuss consoles that aren't of much concern to their readers.

As for the sales thing, wii has clearly won while some feel there's still fight left between the 360 and ps3 so they discuss the battle between those two instead.

Lastly, regarding the wii not getting certain games, 3rd parties can do whatever they want. Even when the ps2 had over 70% marketshare, the original xbox scored great exclusives like Ninja Gaiden regardless of however that happened. That hasn't and will never change.

3rd parties flock to the manufacturer they feel serves them best. This was nintendo in the snes era. They're no more the ones. Get consoles for the games already present that you wish to play and the future ones already announced not because everyone else got one so you think some imaginary games will come. It would save you some future bitterness. What kind of an expectation is that anyway?

This seems to me like fanboy bitterness as an after effect of waiting for nintendo to be back on top for so many years and when they're finally back, 3rd parties don't support them like they did the snes.

Also TC, you mentioned that you've sold your wii....perhaps the people who don't respect nintendo have sold theirs too?

Nintendo is making more money than the rest of the industry combined...celebrate with them...you have brought them their success...however, I'm pretty sure we dont want a monopoly where ninty decides everything in the industry. They already sell the vast majority of all software and hardware (just take a look at the ww charts). What more do you fanboys want? Nothing good has ever come from a monopoly.
