Alright, since everyone else is starting to include everything. Nintendo published games:

NES - 4 / 5 = 80%
SNES - 14 / 22 = 64%
N64 - 11 / 16 = 69%
GC - 13 / 37 = 35%
Wii - 9 / 19 = 47%

GB - 7 / 14 = 50%
GBA - 4 / 7 = 57%
DS - 4 / 7 = 57%

WiiWare - 1 / 4 = 25%

Total - 67 / 126 = 53%

Of course, I also own a bunch of PC games which would bring the percentage down.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

GC - 1/2, 50%

Overall GC and N64 seem really high and Wii less so. Thanks for the participation so far guys. How do you think these figures compare with Sega/Sony/MS published titles? Most probably Sony+MS will be much lower and Sega could be comparable.

I think the Dreamcast was probably the console with the most 1st party domination going on. What do you think?

In fact I would say that there were only a few games: Soul Calibur, Code:Veronica, Powerstone that were REALLY worth it. Maybe there's a few more that I forgot about, but my mind is just overwhelmed by the memories of all the Sega goodness:

Sonic, Crazy Taxi, Shenmue, Vitua Series, Jet Set etc. etc.

God I wish DC didn't die.

For me its probubly about 90% Nintendo published titles. My Wii has more third party titles then any of my prior platforms. My X-Box is about 60% MicrosoftGameStudios and my PS3 is 65% Sony published software.

I guess I buy the consoles usually for games published by the first parties. They just tend to give us the best software. Sure I buy the odd Activision/UbiSoft/Sega game but my favorites are almost all first party titles.

My favorite publishers in order 1-5

1.Nintendo

2.Microsoft

3.Sega

4.Activision

5.UbiSoft

Most non first party titles are on the Wii and 360 as I prefer Live to PSN.
