@ gamelover: true, unless they were talking in relation to the most expensive part of the world. I don't think they specified whether it was US dollars, yen or Euro they were talking about (unless someone has the specifics?)

Sony was making money when you bought your second controller.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
Maybe. Drop one controller and a few games if it bothers you.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
I would have to imagine they would be.
Combined those items probably make over $100 profit.

I currently have 13 PS3 Blu ray games (I always buy new) and one $10 PSN game. Also I have about $250 on PSN add on content (mostly Rock Band songs). I'm planning to buy 1 controller, about 6 Blu Ray games and $100 on PSN content.
I hope I can help Sony to make a profit while buying great games and enjoying the benefits of the PS3.

Sony does not make or lose money based on consumer sales.
They get the same revenue whether a PS3 is on the shelf in a store or in your house.
It would really depend on what 10 $60 games you buy since Sony doesn't make a profit off an individual game sale unless they publish it.

You rly support Sony dont you?
Well...if you want to do something usefull for them,go back in time and kill Bill Gates before he invents the xbox.
No???? Are you guys serious? If they $10-$20 profit on each item, which they are, then that's $130-$260 PROFIT. Minus what they are losing on making PS3's, and keep in mind that Sony says they are going to start making a profit on PS3's in 2010.
It really depends on if you bought it with a Sony MasterCard and payed it off in full or if you are just making minimum payments.
