Why is no one commenting on the relatively poor showing of NSMBWii. It'll be a long seller but still! 4th on launch week??? No mention in the press release?

And all games come out on Friday's so no using the xcuse "it was only out 2 days!".

I am disappointed.

NSMB could well go up next week. Second weeks are often bigger than first weeks in Europe, and the first week was just 2 days of sales.

Good sign for Left 4 Dead 2, the original did like 55kk FW in Others, hopefully it can top that

I'm not sure what your point is, it's not because of consoles that the PC version of Mw2 is failing.

Not sure you could really have expected anything better from it in a week with the launch of AC2 and LfD2 and with MW2 releasing only last week (not to mention the usual Wii games that never stray too far from the top of the chart).

Not great for LBP but it's on PSP so that was sadly to be expected. It should mantain steady sales for a while I would think.

For Wii games, the 2 days "excuse" is actually quite valid, since sales are steadier following the launch. So you'd expect the second week to be pretty good considering it has 3.5 more days than the first week.

I haven't followed UK charts recently, but at least in 2008 it was quite common for Wii games to have better second weeks than first weeks.
