For Wii games, the 2 days "excuse" is actually quite valid, since sales are steadier following the launch. So you'd expect the second week to be pretty good considering it has 3.5 more days than the first week.
I haven't followed UK charts recently, but at least in 2008 it was quite common for Wii games to have better second weeks than first weeks.
