^Nintendo peripherals tend to outperform those of other companies, also more games are coming that support the WM+

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Behh accessories wont do much for anyone probably.

Its all about the price, every cut has a massive affect on the PS3. the 299 slim is a monster but a 199 PS3 in late 2010 is a scary though.

Regarding the first half, Nintendo has had quite a few failed peripherals. ROB and the Zapper, Super Scope 6 and the Mouse, the N64 memory card was used by few games (opting to the old battery on cartridge method), likewise, the expansion pack was only needed by a few games. Even things like the Game Boy camera and the DS rumble pack didn't do much. (The latter so poorly that the port was removed entirely, also axing GBA support.) I'd like to see more peripherals do well like the Balance Board, but as of now, that's more the exception than the rule.

As for the second half, I'm not too sure how they'll do. The big one coming soon is Red Steel 2, and given the reception the first one has, I think that's going to hurt its sales to begin with; the needing of an extra accessory may kill it. Other than Zelda, I don't really see anything else that screams "must have" to require the WM+. Again, I'd like to be proven wrong, but I do think that Zelda will be too little too late for the WM+. In fact, I'd not be surprised if Nintendo has to bundle WM+ with it due to some stores discontinuing the accessory.

^I'm referring to more recently, as in the Wii generation, Wii balance board and WM+ have been a success.

I think as long as Wii sports resort keeps selling, that WM+ will be fine, I mean its probably pretty close to 10 million WM+'s out there already

I think they'll bundle it with Zelda just to make sure everyone who buys the game has a WM+, and as for RS2, being bundled with WM+ will probably help its sales, even though the first game was bad.

Don't know but I think Natal has made best impression to puplic eye and to game developers.Like I have said it will be something huge or not.50/50.
But Sony said that it handles Ps3 Wand marketing same way that they would be releasing new console...I personaly think that this will flop badly.
Vitality sensor?Don't know about that, feels just like Wii fit or Wii sports kinda thing.

Wii Fit and Wii Sports respectively pushed a lot of consoles, my man.

week one COD:MW2

Wii hardware  559,315

PS3 hardware 326,920

week one uncharted 2

Wii hardware   396,010

PS3 hardware 268,067

Even with a great game released every week next year ps3 is not gonaa be able to outsell weekly wii. Adding the fact that ps3 price has already been cut a lot is unprobable major price cuts next year. Ps3 has already released slim version and some huge titles come for wii in 2010 so In my opinion is impossible

wii price cut it's more recent, and nsmb wii was just released also.

But Wii does not need more price cuts, ps3 need if want to outsell wii. nsmb wii was just released... what with that? Nintendo hardware sales are bigger than ps3  regardless of the new releases in both consoles. A single game doesnt make a big difference

wii has a great lineup for 2010... I hope pikmin comes out :)

PS3 has an even better year :/

Not even close, especially if Zelda Wii comes out, it'll be like light years difference

In your opinion.

Guess what.

If GT5 comes out, PS3 will be lightyears ahead!

Bull froom.

This generation has simply taught us that software quality is relative. I think you understand the point, too, given the subject of your avatar.
