Whenever we are viewing a thread,we sometimes don't agree with what the other users are saying so we press the REPLY or the QUOTE other user's response to give our own opinion but the other person doesn't know that we replied or quoted on their post.

The other user will have look through all post's in that thread to find out whether somebody didn't agree with him.

If nobody quotes or replies to our post and post normally in the last box at the end of the thread then no alerts and things should run the way they are.

But if anybody does then we should get Alerts like message alerts,wall post alerts,etc whenever somebody replies or quotes our answer so that we can reply to him on his opinion.

That'd be cool, even if a little impractical. Sometimes, I visit a thread and I won't come back to it for days (if ever). Then, I realize that somebody had quoted me or asked me a question. It makes me look like a douche since I didn't reply or at least acknowledge them.

Wall alerts/massages would be too tedious. How about marking a thread you've been quoted in in a different colour?

Exactly.  You might not see that I quoted you here and never respond.  That'd be a total douche bag move on your part.

please do not, I get too many alerts as it is. If somebody quoted you, you can take 1 minute and scan the thread.

not to out Emails, but a little like how Facebook does it, that would be sik!

Well, reply doesn't really work too well now does it?
It's just basically a way to post a rtr without scrolling to the bottom of the page innit?

How about the standard orange for a thread that's been posted in, and red if someone has replied, quoted you?
