Forums - Website Topics - This site has far too much spyware.

What web browser are you guys using, I never get any spyware warning on Firefox 3.5.5.

Also remember to keep you Flash updated to latest version, older versions might have vulnerabilities in particular versions of web browsers. Spyware can install itself via flash ads, so update to lastest! Go here - http://www.adobe.com/

Most importantly, if you are using Internet Explorer (IE), make sure to upgrade to the latest version (v8), which is itself a pain in the fucking butt - too many security dialogs. So really, IE user, do yourself a favor and use one of these instead:

Firefox - http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Google Chrome - http://www.google.com/chrome

Opera - http://www.opera.com/

Even Safari - http://www.apple.com/safari/

I'm using IE8, FireFox is crazy with the size of pages and safari squashes up everything on my computer.

My computer blocked this website last night around 5am CST and said there was a attempted high risk something or other but that was the only time I've noticed anything!

That sounds very strange hmm, the only reason I am aware of that might cause this is custom Windows skins that cause the default page or chrome settings to go off, my Firefox had overly big text menus last time I tried to skin Windows, i'm just shooting in the dark, I donno the reason.

My norton anti- virus internet security says this site has spyware too, I complained before, but all the mods said was if u dont like it then leave

I'd just like to chime in and say this has happened to me as well. Frustrating to have happen with an otherwise great site.

XBL: WiiVault Wii: PM me  PSN: WiiVault

PC: AMD Athlon II Quadcore 635 (OC to 4.0ghz) , ATI Radeon 5770 1GB (x2)

MacBook Pro C2D 2.8ghz, 9600m GT 512 iMac: C2D 2.0, X2600XT 256

Bout a week ago, I got home from work, scanned this site and only this site. The next day, my laptop was almost unusable (virus attack). Now, it's back to normal.

Well i guess like the mods say, if you don't like it, leave. Kinda blunt but it's very true, you arn't paying to visit the site, if you don't like it, and they won't do anything about it, then simply stop visiting this site if it's that big a deal to you

I have the latest Fire fox and I've been having this problem for about a week now. It was pretty weird since I've been looking at this site for about two months now and never had any spyware.
