I watched New Moon yesterday with my girlfriend and enjoyed it. Was much better than Twilight.

Note: I haven't read any of the books, this is based on the movie only.

Fucking terrible fucking terrible fucking terrible. I saw it and I have to say being in a crowded theater knowing every girl in their is wet and not getting anything at all was atrocious.
The acting=abysmal
The plot=none
The direction= better than the first, still bad
In 7 months it happens all over again with Eclipse.

Jane(dakota) do appear in the end of Eclipse in the book atleast, don't think they will not have her in the script.

I really do look forward to Eclipse... it happened alot in that book, hell the fighting in the end of that one should even satisfy the men/boys who only crave action/blood/gore etc etc-

Wet, you say?  Hmmm.......perhaps I will be checking this movie out.  Do teenage girls still like butterscotch candy?  I can buy some, if they do.

Biggest 1 day gross is largely a useless number unless you control for inflation.

I'm surprised people find the main guy in it attractive quite honestly.

Kasz - New Moon still holds the record even after inflation.

The OP is incredibly wrong with weekend estimates (not the thread-creators fault, just the post).
The estimate was $21m on Saturday. The actual was double that, at $42 million.

Crazy stuff. It's quasi-deserved. The female teenage market hasn't been serviced this well since Titanic.
