I take it he felt that coming on the site was becoming like going to work, so a good decision Imo.
Give someone equally cool his job :)

1337 gamer got commented as being an neutral forum member still he is in the first place a Xbox 360 gamer. I would vote for him. Their are not that many (good) Xbox 360 owners mods.

When I want to tangle with you in some argument, I'll make an argument and you can either answer it, or just point to the username and avatar, and we'll let everyone decide what they think about that. btw, from the sequence of posts it looks like you imply that a mod getting 'suspicious' over someone's avatar is a legit factor in favor of banning them. Like a person's words would be more or less wrong/hostile/misplaced if they had a different avatar? Hah, no. They're the same words.

Well, having seen quite a few of your posts in the past, and with a username and userpic like that, its no suprise that you are under the microscope.
I'm not implying that a username & pic alone are a reason for a banning (Hell, i had one of THE most anti sony quotes out there before in my old sig) but the truth of the matter is that a fair few of your posts ARE suspicious.

Meh, I'm pretty sure I've said before with an avatar and name like Loud_Hot_White_Box's I would keep a pretty close eye on them. I actually remembered when he first joined and I considered just outright banning him since he had like 20 reports for his name and avatar alone. :-p
It's kinda like in Superman II when Superman gave up his powers to become human because he wanted to hook up with Lois Lane, huh?
That's scary. I don't remember a time before Twesterm became a mod.
So, if there's space in the mod team...

Speaking more seriously...
There's a specific workload created by the acitivity level of users which reachs an equilibrium point when mods take on a certain amount of that load. Twesterm has said that he did not feel like he was pulling a lot of weight, so his stepping down from his position probably hasn't affected the larger load very much. Naznatips probably has a pretty good idea of how busy things owuld need to be before he brought on another mod.
More, he probably has a list of likely candidates for modship in case it ever comes up. I doubt that he decides them on the spot.

You shall see in good time...
Former something....
This is erm, uh horrible news!
Gratz to Twesterm for many years of service.
