This site really is a hog for performance cpu at 10% and physical memory at 54%

Firefox is currently using 650MB of RAM, the bulk of which is from this site. And this is a good day, I've seen it go as high as 1GB.

Probably too much flash or something.

VGC makes computers slow to a crawl, and expend a lot of energy.

I agree with the site using an obscure amount of my pc compared to other sites. When I run on power saving settings i can browse other forums and watch videos on youtube at the sametime. If I do it with vgc, not only does vgc lag but the youtube video aswell. A lot even.

Its all the FLASH stuff.. but it's not really the site's fault.. Adobe FLASH eats up memory like policemen eats donuts..

I don't know why you are using the taskmanager to determine things like this..... at least check the performance tab rather than using the stats at the bottom.

The 5% you got for Gamespot is because it was idle at the time... had you refreshed a gamespot forum page, or opened a new page it would have spiked to 30-60% ish while it loaded the page, then gone back to 5%.

VGCharts will do exactly the same thing, you just seem to have managed a screen shot at the exact time it spikes.
