Although it was a really long time since Blizzard made any significant updates to their Starcraft2 website, this time they delivered some pretty interresting reads.

They show us stuff from the single player that hasn't been shown before, and talk about how much work they put into their multiplayer maps (wich probably will be replaced by tournament maps for E-sport play as time goes on, lol)

And, from the latest screens it seems like the true gritty, dark and realistic Starcraft artstyle is back, it just feels like Starcraft again somehow.

I am really looking forward to this.

Blizzard has said that they are working on the LAN issue.

from what I've heard, it will require you to connect to Battle.net and then LAN functionality will be availible.
