I never even knew half of them existed ¬_¬
But even so, VC will outsell a number of them, so all is fine by me
As for my turn... No comment

In that case, I guess DQX is guaranteed to be the best selling console JRPG this gen. :P

I don't believe there are ten more, but games like Final Fantasy Tactics were big budget titles. Nothing like the main Final Fantasy games, but it still had a lengthy development time.

Front Mission next week, and FF tactics A2 the week after. Though tactics doesn't have others sales.

Exactly, FF: Tactics sold what it sold because it had Final Fantasy in it, it's like Halo Wars, RTS don't sell well on consoles but this one did because it had Halo in it...
So 11 - 3 = 8. Still a good number to argue.

The first one only, yeah. For the time (meaning in context or in relation to the costs of other games of the day) it's probably comparable to Valkyria (ie: mid tier budget territory). In absolute sales it's nowhere close, but if we're adjusting for that, shouldn't we also adjust for the larger size of the games market today in the sales figures too?

In fairness, the SRT and SD Gundam games also are helped by their licenses. There's other SRPGs that passed Valkyria too though.

What's the point in this comparison if the PS1 userbase if 3x the PS3 userbase?
