@ coolbeans, but there where would the opportunity for fanboyism be... I suppose the easiest way would be to compare week one sales, but I suppose that tactic is getting a bit boring

Congrats on the sales, Turn 10 managed to bring the goods with this game.

Hold your horses everyone. Yes, Forza 3 numbers are great compared to Forza 2, but let's not forget that VGChartz overtracked Forza 3 first week sales by a lot compared to NPD:

VGChartz (USA+CANADA): 243.648 units
NPD (USA): 175.000 units

~40k overtracked. Not that much of a difference.

looking good. THis game should have good legs too. Especially if it gets bundled. I think 2-2.5M is a very likely scenario without bundling with bundling then who know maybe 4-5 M?

This game is on my to get list, but there are just so many games coming out right now that I want (MW2, Left For Dead 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Forza 3, Lego Rock Band...heh) and they're all $60-$70 (CDN, before tax) so it's hard prioritizing which ones to get first. Hopefully it keeps gaining ground through the holidays.

Yeah im loving this game, the only racing game i don't hate. Thank you Turn 10 for making such an enjoyable experience.

I'm not surprised it sold 1 million. It could sell 2 million by the end of the year, who knows. I bet it tops out at around 3.5-4 million maaaaaayyyybe 5 million.
