Tell me. How is my
fault?

Because I wanted to respond you and I'm gonna do it now

Acording to you pokemon red/green/blue/yellow, gold/silver/crystal, ruby/sapphire/emerald and diamond/pearl/platinum should be counted as the same game (the games from the same generation not all the games).

How is that even relevant to the thread?

'I still think there is a big advantage to put big titles on Wii instead of PS3 in Japan because they sell very well with the big userbase on Wii (see MH3 and DQX will also sell huge no doubt) and the development costs are lower than for the HDconsoles.'.

lol

Conclusive proof right there!

Two of the biggest IPs in Japan, and one of those games not even released yet.

Lol all you want. You can be annyoing but you know that right? All I said was (and I´m right about this) is that really big titles still sell well on Wii (MH3 being a millionseller proves this) and that they do have lower development costs on Wii than on PS3/360. It´s almost a sure thing that DQX will sell awesome so it should stay on Wii if not going to DS (or perhaps PSP). I´m saying this because many have started talking about a possible shift of Dragon Quest X from Wii because of bad softwaresales for smaller titles on Wii. It´s the smaller titles that flop on Wii but they have nothing to do with the sales of megagames.

nvm

cant wait for MC Sales

So it's:

PSP 3000+Go - 46,000

DSi+DSL- 35,280

And PS3 > Wii? Looks like Sony has a grip on Japan right now.

DS i LL doesn't come out until 21st I believe

And PS3 over Wii will continue probably until around the NSMB Wii release

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

So much for The Source preview and Wii sales rising on FFCC and seasonal demand..

Wii is 2k lower than last week.......

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

so PS3 dominates again in japan, yay, things really are swinging in their favour now, but how come they are not buying many consoles (all of them) as much as us lot, maybe it's because of the recession??

it's the future of handheld
