I wonder how many people are going to die this year.

why do people think the 360 is gonna beat the ps3 in america? i want a real answer, cause for the last 2 NPD's it hasnt, so why is it all of a sudden gonna go ahead of the ps3. then again you could be right, americans havnt been eating up the ps3 like europe and japan have since the price cut. either its still too expensive for them, or they are too stupid to recognize value!

Nonononono a Playstation victory would mean PSP and PS2 sell outstandinly well, along with all PS software causing sony to profit greatly.

The walmart is definitely a must. If I didn't have a ps3, i'd probably buy that one.

yea thats one of the advantages the 360 will have but its not like the ps3 is expensive anymore. looking at how its selling now, it should easily beat the 360 even in america during the holidays.

@ Kowenicki: considering how you've been trailing the sales rather closely, any thoughts on how much "closer" these sales would be between ps3 and xbox360? I still see the 360 going for a landslide, even with the slim + price cut + deals at walmart.

im just basing it on what we've seen the past 2 months, in september it easily beat the 360 and last month it comfortabely beat the 360, i dont see how its gonna turn the other way round. not saying it cant, im just saying I dont think it will.

@ kowenicki: That's exactly why I think it'll do more than "better". I wouldn't understand it (since the PS3 dropped in price and got some good advertising now), but it seems like a lost cause in the US.
