Also, the underlying engine has always performed better on 360/PC vs PS3 and despite the huge budget it always seemed unlikely Ubi were going to tinker with it enough on PS3 to gain the additional optimization needed for the game - as with AC (which also had it's fair share of glitches on either console) the developers seem determined to produce a game which slightly outstrips the capability of its tech to support it.

That's a good point.

 

As a matter of fact, Spanish Ubisoft Chief told me the engine was exactly the same on AC and AC2. Only textures, layers and that kind of things have been improved. At least that was the situation by the time when HAWX was launched, that was the time when I had the conversation.

 

I'm not an AC fan, so I may be missing something.

Sony are also doing the advertising in Europe, and almost nobody cares about these small differences

lol?? what are the reviewers suppose to say to ps3 owners only??? " Throw your ps3 out of the window AC2 on 360 looks slightly better ppl who bought a ps3 are dumb and missing out on a slightly better version of AC2"
