^Fox :D

Ahh, I see. He did get a bit of a nerf, didn't he...

He's still fast and his attacks form combos well, but the range of his gun and Firefox has been reduced. his reflector is weaker, and worst of all, his smash attacks can't knock out opponents anymore.

They ruined him ;_;

Well look at Falco's firebird. It reaches like half a meter.
And Fox still has his up-smash.

Fox's upsmash is so incredibly weak in Brawl. He can't KO with it.

Now I'm playing with Falco in Brawl due to him being avle to knock out opponents. But it's just no the same magic as Fox in melee :(

I LOVE ICELAND!

All were disappointing, but only mercinaries 2 made me mad and feel ripped off.

Medieval total war 2

Mercinaries 2 (probably broke my heart *sniff*)

CoD: Modern warfare 1

hold on...which COD game are you looking at when saying MW1 was a disapointment? COD3?

Compared to CoD 1, united offensive, CoD2 it was a dissapointment. I didn't even give CoD3 any of my excitement :-/

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

You can KO with nearly any move in Smash Bros as long as the conditions are right.

Also technically Falco was better in Melee as well as now in Brawl.  But that's all based on 'tournament' players standards.  A lot of what makes Brawl good is a lot more of the characters (IE almost all of them) are now a lot more balanced and what made a character completely overpowered or another character completely weak in Melee has been fixed.  So you are able to play as nearly everyone and have a good chance in a scrap.  Even characters such as Bowser, Zelda and my favorite, Luigi.

Six upcoming games you should look into:

Exactly. That's my favorite part of Brawl. I loved how Zelda played in Melee, but I couldn't really play her because she was terrible. Now in Brawl, I can play her and actually win.

MW2 I found disappointing on the SP side. Resistance 2 a little bit on the SP side. Condemned 2 I thought improved some stuff while managing to bring in other issues, and Fear 2 I felt didn't work well.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Um...

Super Paper Mario
Resistance 2
FEAR 2
Tekken 6
Resident Evil 5
Far Cry 2

That's all.

Resistance 2 for pretty much the same reasons that rainbird has listed.
Second game felt much more generic compared to the first.

GTA 4
COD MW 1
Mercenaries 2
Fear 2

Resistance 2 - It was still a good game, but the much touted boss battles were a letdown, and the gunplay felt downgraded to a more generic level compared to R:FoM (mostly because the weapon wheel was removed in favor of that only-2-weapons-at-a-time system).

All other sequels I have played this generation have either been better, or I haven't played any of the previous games.

I felt they chickened out a bit with the boss battles - making them actually linear and force feeding you the answer to make sure you 'won'.  I think the size, etc. of many of the encounters was great, but you never really felt you were reacting to the situation so much as following a single track to success.

Agree on the weapons - they should have simply left things the way the were as that was part of the charm of the first.

I also felt the core plot and approach changed to much so that you felt quite disconnected from the first title.  For example, in RFOM the Chimera are clearly altering the climate to cool the planet to suit their needs, something that was well conveyed as you were taken more and more into a frozen landscape, in the sequel this seemed to change for no given reason, with the Chimera merrily scampering about in hot, sunny landscapes without overheating.

Also, the abrupt change of conversion from something driven by technology, which I thought worked well, to something more horror movie orientated (pod people) felt out of place too.

I also felt that the sudden dropping of the 'Angels' etc wasn't made clear and although there were hints that Dadealous (spelling?) was behind a lot of the seeming change of direction for the Chimera it was all too vague and abrupt.

Of course, the fact the game (and to be fair RFOM too) plays a hunt the extra intel game on you doesn't help.
