So, Pandemic is closed and Free Radical is near bankrupt and a division of Crytek...what's happening to Battlefront?

Another company destroyed by EA. I had almost forgot how EA loves to ruin smaller companies that happen to make really good games.
Oh well, in these times, Pandemic were simply not smart enough to experimant with cheaper development processes.

Maybe because they've also been in development hell with The Saboteur for a good long while, completely botched a high end Dark Knight project that got canned, and Lord of the Rings: Conquest sold under 800K on both platforms combined.
Tag: Became a freaking mod and a complete douche, coincidentally, at the same time.
Even though they did release alot of shit games after they were bought by EA, I cannot help but feel as though it was EA's fault...
Just another reason to hate on them.
Hopfully this won't happen to bioware, as pandemic and bioware got bought up together by EA.

I'm wondering the same thing... I'm gonna be very sad if I never get my Battlefront III...
I'm kinda sad to hear this since I've played a lot of their games and have enjoyed them too. Specifically the Battlefront games.
I liked mercs 2 and the first one battlefront I could do without and did. Stupid EA buying to many studios to keep up with activision.
Comparing the mediocre Mercs 2 to the awesome Mercs 1, it's obvious Pandemic's main talent had already left.
