Yea, that woman needs to go away. Anyone else see it?

Who needs to go away, Oprah or Palin? Either way, I agree.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Oprah shouldn't go away, she likes our bread!

Palin on the other hand...

You can have her, then.

You are welcome to Palin, too.

We had Oprah on trial for our country when the olympics thing went. Let's just say that she went home again

Palin should go to Sweden or one the other Scandinavian countries. They have moose after all.

"Life is but a gentle death. Fate is but a sickness that results in extinction and in the midst of all the uncertainty, lies resolve."

While I haven't watched this interview, and have no intention of watching the interview, I think the interesting element of this is the part that no one seems to be talking about ...

I don't have any numbers at the moment but since the election last year there have been several reports on various political blogs about how Oprah has been seeing steady declines in her audience; which has been unprecedented for the (so called) Queen of daytime entertainment. Now there are countless reasons why this could have happened (including plain-old viewer fatigue), but there are some people who suspect that Oprah removing the illusion of being non-political may have alienated a significant portion of her audience; which would not be much of a surprise being that I suspect that the “Base” of viewership of Oprah’s show are stay-at-home moms, which I suspect would (on average) be far more conservative than Oprah.

Now I could be wrong but I suspect this interview had as much to do with Oprah trying to reclaim lost viewers as it did with Palin trying to sell her new book.
