While I haven't watched this interview, and have no intention of watching the interview, I think the interesting element of this is the part that no one seems to be talking about ...

I don't have any numbers at the moment but since the election last year there have been several reports on various political blogs about how Oprah has been seeing steady declines in her audience; which has been unprecedented for the (so called) Queen of daytime entertainment. Now there are countless reasons why this could have happened (including plain-old viewer fatigue), but there are some people who suspect that Oprah removing the illusion of being non-political may have alienated a significant portion of her audience; which would not be much of a surprise being that I suspect that the “Base” of viewership of Oprah’s show are stay-at-home moms, which I suspect would (on average) be far more conservative than Oprah.

Now I could be wrong but I suspect this interview had as much to do with Oprah trying to reclaim lost viewers as it did with Palin trying to sell her new book.

How did Oprah reveal her political bias? What did she say, opinions and stuff other than the new age heal the world stuff i heard from her.

And to the others in this thread: what did sweet Palin do rong in that interview btw?
