Is it true that the game is harder if played online (talking about AI enemys not other real players)

Why arent u buying a PS3 already? U are a full time worker, u shuld have the money lilleblue.

Congrats! You have one of the best games ever. Start with Royal and try to level up a lot so that your attacks and defence are stronger. The best is online co-op. You can fight the boss with 2 other players or beat a black phantom that invades your world. I have not played any other games since I got DS early in October. Even Uncharted 2 is waiting!

Hmm I really wanted this game few months ago but now I simply wouldn't have time to even start it.

Advice: dont try to rush killing enemys w8 for the proper time to strike and always block.....also take a break when ever you get frustrated like losing a huge chunk of souls then come back and play when you have cooled off it shud get you through levels easily when ur calm =)

Yeah, there are items that only enemies drop like some of the rare stones you need to upgrade your weapons.

But like I said the chance that they drop anything isn't much higher with a better luck stat, it's more the amount of the dropped item if they drop anything . So, you'll regret it if you invest too much in the luck stat. You could just use certain equipment to get better drop rates if you need a certain item.

So it basically has a %to drop item rate like Diablo had? That makes the choice of classes more easy to me then, thanks ;)

Thanks for the co-op advice, I still don't know if i'll try this game in co-op, i'm a sucker for hard games played alone, I went through an entire Hell run in Diablo 2 with the /players 6 difficulty enabled. Still I've heard that the bosses are a true pain when done alone. I've seen only videos of Phalanx, and boy was that one hard :O Parry is a must in this game right?

Thanks for the advice as well :) I've learned a long time ago to play these difficult RPG's with all the peace of mind that I can muster. That's what's gotten me so far in DA:O on hard too xD I see that the block/parry combination is indeed a must as you people say, I've seen it a lot in videos

It was pure luck that I found it in here, the shop in which I went imports NA games for almost all home consoles but I'd never seen DS in there.
