I haven't play NSMB Wii

as its not similar to Mario World, according to axumblade anyway I may not like it as much as I hoped

LBP is a very very fun game, 4th best game this gen imo

Axumblade lies. The game is not SMW. The game is a tribute, and complilation of all the major 2D Mario plarformers that came before it. I can definitely feel the SMW influence in a lot of places.

I begrudge no one their choice when they have played both games.

But passing opinions when you have only played one of them is heinous and dishonest and crude.

What about passing opinions when you haven't played either?

Because NSMBWii is clearly the better game with all the user generated content, but the offline co-op in LBP is fantastic - as are the FPS levels.

This is funnier than Rol's version of the joke but he got to it way before you did

Surprisingly the new super mario bros is actually very good. I played part of it and from what I've played I loved it and LBP cannot compare to tell you the truth. The new Wii moves the interaction with the controller and more make this game so fun beyond that of LBP.

I'd say LittleBigPlanet since you can play pretty much every Super Mario level on it and anything else you can possibly think of.

Except LBP has different physics, you don't have to be as precise, you lack power ups making it near impossible to do half the stuff you do in Mario, yeah I'd say thats just like playing a 2D Mario /sarcasm

I played the LBP demo... erased it immediately after. I though it was really bad.. the controls were just bad. It was kind of a funny game, but it just didn't do it for me. Mario is the definition of a platform game. Nothing can compare to it.

The controls aren't bad, just like the physics it takes a little getting used to, its a bit floaty for my taste but still a hell of a lot of fun. Playing with my friends the best thing to do is local and then beat the snot out of each other and mess with the other persons character, we added so many objects on screen it made the game's framerate start to drop.

Well yeah, that's what I was trying to say. The way it controls... the floaty feeling, i just didn't like that

Well ya clearly the controls in Super Mario are superior to LBP but my point was theres such an unlimited amount content in LBP that even stuff like Super Mario levels are in it.

Without the controls, power ups, and precise platforming gameplay all the custom levels based off 2D Mario in the world will not stack up to the original :P which is my point.

LBP is better suited as an invention of genius, a game made to bring out others creativity, and the move complex and defined they make it the more awe inspiring it is, but still doesn't mean it has the record of platforming excellence.
