Yup. The world is ending in 2012. You agreeing with my predictions just confirms it.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

For the Famitsu figures? I used Japan Game Charts archive, except for titles that charted last week in the top 30 (DQIX, MHFU Best). In reality, everything is probably a little higher by now (Mario Kart Wii and NSMB likely topping the list given they still usually make top 50).
