Come on, there is a sticky devoted to recommending games. You should read it.

They're not sorted by year, but an awesome 2009 game is no better than an awesome 2007-08 game.

Also, buy Uncharted 2.

Why are people recomending Assassin's Creed 2? It isn't even out yet and the first one was crap in my opinion. I think there's plenty to choose among the titles already released.

uncharted 2, assasins creed 2, saboteur are games i would recomend, and modern warefare 2 if u like multiplayer games.
