Definitely not - Activision wouldn't cannibalize their sales like that.

I find it funny that people think that the next COD game will be called 7 and not 6 as modernwarfare 2 isn't COD 6 it's part of a new spin-off franchise

I find it funny that some people take others at face value when clearly they did not intend their statements to be taken so. The next generation MS console is refered to as the 720, and the next gen Nintendo console the Wii HD, clearly these names are much less likely than the next CoD game being called CoD7

Of course. Maybe the Wii will get three or four actually. Look how quickly Activision put Modern Warfare on the Wii. Expect several COD games on the Wii next year.
