Well, shooting him seemed the only reasonable course of action to me!

8/10
While the game is graphically beautiful, it did nothing really new for the first person shooter genre. I feel this game does no one good thing best compared to other FPS games. Nonetheless, it was still a solid game. I personally feel that games like Halo and Call of Duty do the first person shooter thing a bit better.
+ Graphics
- Color (serious lack of color)
- Innovation
- Story
Seems ill be the only one to give the highest score XD
10/10
Pro's:
My very favourite FPS
Loved the story, characters, voice acting. You just felt like you were really IN the game.
So intense gameplay on SP and MP.
Awesome weapons & classes.
Amazing online.
Epicness was over the roof.
Graphiiics! Love the way they used it, The lack of color didnt bother me a bit seeming as the way I think of Helghan is just pure dark.
Con's:
The only complainment I have is that there was no Co-Op. But that does not really bother me at all. The aiming was hard at first but after awhile you just got used to it. Same like me playing MGS4 for the first time. Its all about opinions.

9.9/10
Great game
Unmatched graphics
Storyline is generic but still gripping
Action dripping
Great controls and gameplay
Online - wow!
- no co-op :(
Edit: Someone said easy to beat on elite?! Did you really play the game?!

+Incredible graphics
+Engaging story (some may disagree here)
+Helghast sound brilliant
+Feels different from most FPS. In a good way.
+Fantastic AI
+Great cover system
-God awful ISA voice acting
-Rico
-Online matches take too long
-Enemies online are too bullet-resistant.
Third favourite FPS this gen, after BioShock and CoD4. But I don't own MW2 yet.

Pros:
-Awesome presentation and well scripted events
-Great graphics - although somewhat pre-baked, the lighting and effects are amongst the top of the class. The textures... not so much.
-Amazing sound
-Neat implementation of a first person cover mechanic - It worked pretty well too.
-Amazing sense of war torn atmosphere
-Kill animations that are unmatched by anything that's out or that is coming out in the near future
-Pretty good multiplayer
-Good weight to the game
-More devs need to ramp up difficulty like this.
Con:
-Not a very involving story
-Forgettable cliche characters
-Color palette (or lack thereof)
-Sometimes it got annoying to aim. They went for a realistic, slow paced aiming system in a game with enemy AI and online designed for a faster paced action game.
-Patches that kept changing the feel of the gameplay
-Not much variety in gameplay (shoot, grenades, cover... one vehicle for part of a level and that's it)
-I've got nothing against them, but I'd prefer not to play as a "little-person"
-Lack of any type of coop or splitscreen
Other Thoughts:
When I first played this game I didn't think much of it. It was an above average shooter with extremely pretty graphics. Then after a week I thought back to it and how it reminded me so much of my favourite online shooter last gen (Rainbow Six 3) and I craved to play it more - so I did. The game feels so right in the weight department but the mix of difficulty to aim precisely and the fairly fast paced character movement kinda feels unbalanced. However it does separate itself from most of the other shooters out there due to this unique feel.
Perfect 10
There isn't much to really criticise it for. Great online.
