FFX. If that was ever remade for PS3, I'd actually purchase the console.

Yeah, pretty much my favourite music of the series as well.

My favorite is Final Fantasy 6 (also known as FF 3 on the SNES). Would LOVE to have it remade. Edgar is a pimp and Kefka is my favorite video game villain of all time.

I say VIII, IX, and VII, in that order. I think IF they remade 6, they wouldn't expand the story to achieve modern standards. While VI had the best story in a FF game, it actually had very little dialogue, pathetic character introductions, and almost no character development outside of what is implied from character archetypes.

With VIII, IX, or VII, you wouldn't have to touch the story at all. Just add VA and a few extra sidequests, improve the graphics, and it would be one of the best games of all time.

I think a VII remake will happen one day. It has to. Too many people want it.

Quite right! to this day, i can "hear" them actually sing the words when i think about the scene! :)

They actually did sing words when preparing the MIDI for that scene, but the compression of that format made any words unhearable, so instead they tried to sing as melodically (don't know if that's the right word in english) as they could to meld with the actual song. That's why you get that feeling, the words are there, we just couldn't hear them ;).

I thought the draw system was excellent, I must admit I liked the system in FF7 as well I just prefered FF8's system, because you had to be more careful with your magic.
Anyway the battle systems are still better than FFXII which I really disliked, I really hated the gambit system, I mean who wants to wacth the ps2 execute your characters moves for you (yes i know it was optional) but still, I really hated it.
