I have seen Toys R Us and Best Buy run game sales, like buy two, get one free, and I have bought far more games than I had thought I would.  Among the list:

Forza 3

Tekken 6

Dragon Age

Modern Warfare 2 (Bought because it was a $20 gift card, which was used on Dragon Age)

Brutal Legend

Uncharted 2

Ratchet and Clank: Crack in Time

Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3)

Borderlands

(I may of forgotten some others also)

And if KMart has L4D2 at $40, that will end up joining the list.  Anyone else gone nuts here?

Yea I almost had the same problem, had to stop myself after my Toys R' Us run, told myself I wasn't allowed to buy anymore games until I at least beat 2 of the 3 I bought.

And I also have ODST, but not part of the sale.

All I have got in just over the last month it: Gran Turismo, Motorstorm, FIFA 10, Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Modern Warfare 2... and Dragon Age and Assassin's Creed II are coming next week

I've avoided sales, citing a lack of disposable income as my reason. Then, I turn right back around and buy the exact games I would've bought except I pay full price!! Or I'll buy a few old games I may never play for the money I saved by not buying a new game.

For what was called such a lack luster release year with all the game delays, Amazon's sales have got me to buy a lot of new games. I usually pick things up used because I enjoy being cheap.

ODST for $50.99 + $15 GC

Borderlands / GTA:IV $81 + 40GC

Dragon Age $56 + $10GC

MW:2 $60 + $20GC

I've got $30 in Amazon GC waiting for a tempting deal.

I also bought on Ebay several older games for $12 each.
