Forums - Nintendo - Call of Duty Reflex Vs The Conduit: Graphic Compraison

It was just a matter of time to see something like this:

Shows just what I've stated before. TC has better effects, while MWR has better textures. But both have pretty good performance, so both do quite well with what they focus on.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Yah I'd say the lack of textures makes The Conduit look alittle more cartoony then ModernWarFare. But both have pretty good graphics considering they are both Wii titles!

I'd have to give the edge to Call of Duty, though remember to keep in mind that it has fewer players.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Youtube, just made it look bad if you played the game in real life it looks better. But they both look fine to me.

Neither has splitscreen..

I've always hated MW's graphics. They're so boring.

mw also has smother animations, better player-environment connection, variable physics(dynamic physics!for instance, check the corpses reactions at explosions, they are never the same!, as geometry influences the body ragdoll physics). The conduit...well no.Fall and vanish no matter where you die, regardless of angle.Simply no.Also, The conduit online only does blob shadows(and mostly never then).MW ensures it always keeps dynamic shadows on place, even online. Also, lighting in MW takes in account environment (such as sun outside and so forth). Conduit ignores it, reflects close up lighting effects(such as trust weapons). Finally the conduit framerate suffers with rocket launcher matches, dropping to the point of making aiming much difficult in those cases.MW keeps the framerate much more stable. Also, the smoke has a much more advanced effect in MW. Conduit does better lighting reflections of weapons, bloom and normal mapping, but sacrifices basic tech like dynamic shadows and environment lighting, smoke and physics.

Well.. they didn't show Kevin Sorbo on screen so that's a big plus for the conduit..
