That's... actually a kinda insulting advertisement there.

"Some people are born great, others have to become great. Not you though... you aren't great but hey you get this great videogame."

Remember I'm a SONY fan, I like to be insulted by the company I love!!!!! lol j/k

I don't think its insulting at all

You don't think it's insulting that they just assumed you can't be a "great" person?

It's like saying "Everyone who plays Final Fantasy hasn't or won't achive big things"

Eh, whatever though.  Just a really poor choice in marketing phrases.

Somewhere though, some really important guy is taking offense at that.  Like Bill Gates or something.

It says legendary

legends aren't real are they, they are myths

none of us are or will become legendary

What is a legendary status? One of hercules or Bill Gates?

Actually legends are real.

Ever here the phrase "Living Legend".

Bill Gates would be a Legend when it comes to what he did.

Sports have had numerous legends over the years.

Being a Legend in something or a field just means doing something amazing.  Furthermore that's how it's used here.  Some people are born Legends, others are forced to become them?  What forced to become fiction?

Legend = Great.

yay.

Great news everyone: I have terrible news!

FF13 not coming out in Japan this year!

If the announcement isn't:

FF XIII is multiplat in Japan, or
FF XIII is releasing world wide in December 2009, or
FF vs XIII is going Multiplat

Then whatever the announcement is it's neither special or huge.

its.....
FFXIII ONLINE! OH NOES!

Around the Network

FFXIII to release in MMXIII
that would make me lol.
then cry a little.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

I hate announcements of announcements.

But still, I guess if it is the bloody release date, and it falls before the bloody month of August, I won't have to import my bloody copy from bloody Japan and have to read bloody Japanese..

QFT man.  There is nothing I hate more than that.
