no wonder there are always foreigners playing on PSN |
Looking at the trophycard rankings:
5 Americans
3 Europeans (2 French, 1 British)
2 Asians (Both from Kuwait, incidentally).
Maybe Americans are more hardcore?

NA is the largest region in the holidays. But, last year especially, the PS3 isn't as popular in NA as it is in Europe. Wii is probably higher in NA than EU. |
yes I see now
Europe has really been an asset

I haven't really encountered that. But then, I block all voice chat when starting a game. Nobody ever says anything worthwhile.
When playing Dark Crusade online on PC a while back, a lot of the players were French/French Canadian. But on PSN, all of the nonsensical noises and rambling about being drunk seem to be in English.

Same here, the number of incompetent people who find it funny to say weird things on the voice chat is getting a bit too much!

Germany alone will in no way cause such a big spike in sales.
ioi said "excpect metldowns." To me, that translates to 360 > PS3 for the week.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
Conservatives: Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

Don't know why anyone would have a meltdown if they are giving away a hundred bucks with the 360 and that increases sales.
