I just want to see how many people will check this thread.

I noticed that Wii's topics that are getting most of the replies are about complain. I find the situation quite sad for this console. Actually, I think there's many good games on this console. I had more good moments on SMG than SM64 or Sunshine.

I think Nintendo is not to blame because they're caught in a vicious circle. Because there wasn't enough 3rd party support in 2006-07-08-09, Nintendo had the responsability to develop all the games on their console . They did quite well, but to satisfy both casual and hardcore, they weren't able to produce enough games. If third parties supported more the console in those past years, nobody would be complaining.

So, no third party support = not a great amount of game because Nintendo is by itself = lack of software

And if Nintendo wasn't able to make money with third party games, they had to base their games with instant-success figures such as Mario. Then, when people are complaining on lack of new licenses, you have to understand Nintendo's position. Fortunately, they took a great risk with the Wii series (Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wii Sports Resort) and it worked most of the time.

Now, 2010 is coming. Nintendo will show up many great games and finally, third support is coming (No More Heroes 2, Red Steel 2, Epic Mickey, Monster Hunter 3).

I do think they deserve the credit for all the efforts they are doing. "Oh no, another Mario game..." then go buy the 1000 FPS Microsoft is publishing all the time. Mario is a sure value, so Nintendo is basing their games on him because they know they can make money.

So, with that said, I want you to know that I'm happy with my Wii. I'm happy with my games. I absolutely loved to play with "childish games" such as Super Mario Galaxy, according to nombrous people. I loved Twilight Princess as much as Ocarina of Time and it makes me sad when people says "It's just a GameCube port". I bought the Wii to play Mario Kart. And yes, Wii Sports Resort is a very good game. I shared great moments with my sister on that title.

Yes, I'm looking forward New Super Mario Bros Wii. I think it will be huge. I really hope Crystal Bearers and Resident Evil will have their moment of glory. I think 2010 is the best year for the Wii. I think it will be better than the others.

And YES, I hope New Super Mario Bros Wii will beat Modern Warfare 2 in sales, unless this title comes on the Wii :)

Wii fans are too busy playing it than post on internet

I am but that's because i bought no games for it.

I didn't forget RE, FFCC, MH3, RS2, NMH2, EPIC MICKEY

I know there's many games. I just want to share my point. I don't have to name all the games when I'm making a thread.

like pulluspardus said wii users r too busy and lost in their awesome games to post and argue with 360 or ps3 fans and becuase ps3 and 360 fans r jealous they post on the internet tha they have better games even though they do not and so just waste their time on the internet so they can feel satisfied!

ok, youre right in some points. But lately te Wii, has had great 3rd party's support as YesWiiCan says.

The Wii is the greatest video game system I have ever heard of.

VC + Wii Sports + Wii Fit = more variety than any other console. I can play games with my arms, I can play games with my feet, I can play games with my butt, I can play games by pointing at the TV, I can sing, I can dance, I can exercise, I can train my brain, I can shoot zombies, I can cheerlead, I can relax in the ocean, I can play all the greatest games from the 80's and 90's from almost every system, and any GameCube game, and in a week, 4-player Mario.

I can even be the Beatles!

I see no reason to complain.

If you don't mind, I'd like to expand on your list a bit.

You can paint buildings with paint, you can paint buildings with blood, you can shoot aliens, you can shake small creatures, you can take over foreign kingdoms, you can hack and slash ninjas, you can hack and slash thugs, you can command battalions, you can command small aliens, you can quickly pick your nose, you can quickly cook dishes, you can build a farm, you can build an city, you can crawl dungeons, you can crawl with babies.

Wii can do anything.

Hahaha, now I want a game about dungeoncrawling babies. Like Imagine: Dungeoncrawlerz Party Patrol. Online co-op, 4 babies go into the world's darkest randomly generated dungeons to search for truth... That game would have something for everybody. You can dress the babies in fashionable bows and ribbons and chainmail!
