Valve should just STFU and release Episode 3!!!!!!

No saying that x360 is on par with pc is insulting to pc.

1. I never said Sony owners don't buy map packs. I said the 360 is way stronger with online and has a more dedicated FPS community.

2. L4D doesn't fit the PS3 image because as much as Sony tries to force it down peoples throats there will never be a truly interesting shooter that can be a system seller on the PS3. It doesn't have that appeal. The PS3's appeal applies to third person  titles as in JRPG's, Sports, Racing and action titles. Microsoft is far stronger on the shooters, whilst they do very well in the sports, RPG's and racing for themselves,  but Sony thrives in JRPG's more so than WRPG's department. Sony needs to cut the shit and start marketing fully to the same age group they've always been focusing on which is Teens to adults. They need to stop trying to bring in the casuals  cause it isn't working and they need to stop trying to draw the FPS fans, because they aren't majorly leaving the PC or 360.

I am loving all this hysteria every time Valve has something to say about the PS3. People constantly poke, prod, and insult them for not being in Sony's corner and then when they speak on the subject...BURN THE WITCH! If I was a PS3 owner, I'd stop caring at this point. They just have no reason to support the PS3 and they're in a comfortable position.

The way I see it is that maybe the Valve boys should just shutup. Of course people who don't get their games on their platform are going to try and find reasons why it's not on there. Other PC/360 exclusives like Mass Effect don't gather the same animosity for the developer from the PS3 community, and why is that? Pretty simple, the developer doesn't consistently try to convey totally stupid excuses as to why ME is not on the PS3.

In the case of Valve, well everyone knows good old Gabe is an ex Microsoftie. Right away he has to tread lightly and all the more reason why he just needs to keep his mouth shut, or maybe just come out and say, "it's a business deal exclusive". Better still, just STFU and it gives less ammo to the PS3 fanbois.

Seriously, when you look at the history of comments from Valve, starting with Big Boy Gabe and his early in the piece remark about "Sony should just bypass this gen... blah blah" - I mean what's the deal with that? Valve are a games developer and to be honest, it's totally inappropriate for them sprouting trash talk of this ilk for any console or hardware platform. It's just stupid PR. In fact, it's just plain old dumb.

User campaigns are dedicated servers are also apparantly not needed on consoles. How do you figure that PC piracy is killing profits of a company like Valve? I doubt those who go through the trouble of pirating L4D only to play an outdated version online using Hamachi are killing their profits as they wouldn't have bought the game anyway.

Frankly, I wish this bickering about Valve developing for ps3 would stop. If ps3 only owners actually wanted to play Left 4 Dead and not just complain, they should have it for PC or X360 already. There's nothing wrong with hoping it comes to your platform of choice, but please hope in silence.
