I just wanted everyone to know that. 

Since I see a new thread about being drunk popping up every other day, I figured that I'd make one stating that I'm sober. 

Sobriety is awesome!!!  I've been sober for over three years now and love it.  I always know where I'm going to wake up and can always tell if a cute girl really is cute.  Other things that I can do include me being able to walk in a straight line, speaking without slurred speech, and being able to go for hours on end without cursing.

Is anyone else out there sober?  If so, come to this thread to brag about how you can eat food and actually taste it or whatever else comes to mind.

I used to drink quite a bit myself. That's why I don't do it any more.

I have been sober for every single second of my entire life. Let's celebrate!

Haha, I guess they can be annoying. To be honest, when you drink it does create a more trigger happy mood when it comes to making threads. I did it last night, I'm not particularly proud of starting a drunk thread.

Mind you last night I did have the intention of just having a couple of beers at a party, but then they had punch that was more lethal than it tasted so it just went out the window anyway. Like you I will probably grow up one day and stop drinking, but I'm still young so I'll just carry on for now.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you just have to shrug these things off, because drinking when you go out to parties and bars is just a phase the majority go through in their late teens early 20's.
