Forums - Sony Discussion - Does anyone else feel that Sony is focusing more on kiddie games lately?

R&C is for the whole family, it's a good game so far I played.

There's an enormous amount of hardcore games lined up, but the average PS3 owner is a well earning adult male potentially with kids too. I think it makes sense to add more family orientated forms of entertainment. Just like adding cartoons to the PSN or Disney classics on Blu-Ray.



Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

Lets take an example :

yesterday, France, Paris, Fnac shop (Walmart like)

Xbox360 with FM3 : 2 guy playing, no one looking at

PS3 with ........................................ Eye Pet : 1 boy playing at some point 10 persons looking at it !!!!!!

EDIT : I forgot to mention they was even a "Sony guy" near of the PS3 to deal with the game control
and I must say I didnt even read the OP lol

The original post was not his best work. This thread was epic though. One of the funniest reads ever. The cycling Koopa Kids + Bowser makes it all the more enjoyable too.

Why do people call Ratchet and Clank kiddy?

Because you play as a animal?

And you say last year you got Resistance 2 you know Isonamic made that and Ratchet and Clank.

A game is mature because it has blood or human characters?

Anyways...

Infamous made by Sucker Punch a kiddy developer Sly Cooper trilogy and Rocket Robot On Wheels on N64.

 

Uncharted Naughty Dog is also a kiddy developer Crash Bandicoot PS1 trilogy and Jax & Daxter PS2 Trilogy.

 

All of Sony's top developers are kiddy developers so yes Sony is hardcore kiddy.
