"Shin Megami Tensei" announced for the PS3 in 2005 either never existed, or was quietly cancelled. Atlus have recently hired PS360 developers though, so I wouldn't be surprised if the HD consoles get a spinoff of some sort (Persona, DDS, etc.) I think the main series (SMT) will stick to the DS for the forseeable future.
