Actually, I'd say last gen was the first where you could get by just fine owning one console (PS2) since the NES era. This gen at least has some clear diversity with 360/PS3 on one side and Wii on the other.
Besides, this game doesn't even use any of PS3's strengths and it already runs on 360 compatible middleware... why not release it both and expand the potential audience?
