How is this comment a problem?  If anything I am "tired' of games being labeled "exclusive' and then 6 months later being ported over to the opposite console.  What is the point of owning multiple consoles if they host the same games.  Last generation was cool because you had to have each console to get the best out of that generation.  This generation if you have a ps3, you might as well pick up a wii because the 360's games come to ps3 within 6 months to a year.  Or the other way around if you have a 360; I would prefer to have the game on one console so that that one console can have a reason for someone to own it. 

Actually, I'd say last gen was the first where you could get by just fine owning one console (PS2) since the NES era.   This gen at least has some clear diversity with 360/PS3 on one side and Wii on the other.

Besides, this game doesn't even use any of PS3's strengths and it already runs on 360 compatible middleware... why not release it both and expand the potential audience?

He wants the game, it is owned by Sony. Therefore, he won't be getting it unless he picks up a PS3. Where's the problem?

He didn't know it was owned by SONY, or he wouldn't have said it in such a way

Where were you when Assasins creed , GTA 4 , DMC 4 and FF13 jumped ship?

Those games all became multiplatform day-and-date though, except FFXIII which gets a JP only exclusive.  The only later 360 ports I can think of offhand are Unreal Tournament III, Way of the Samurai 3, Gundam Musou and Virtua Fighter 5.  And probably FFXIV, though it's not official yet.

PS3's definitely benefitted more from later ports than 360 has imo (Oblivion, Tales of Vesperia, Star Ocean, Bioshock, Ridge Racer 7, Lost Planet, Ninja Gaiden 2, Braid, etc, etc).

I will aquire one. But still it would be nice to have such a good and original game on my favorite console.

jarrod - you are assuming it will release in the states... Is there a reason why? Has any publisher picked it up yet? It wouldnt be worth the translation to bring this westward.

A Sony employee said in a twitter (or blog or some other such thing) not to bother with importing it, it is already being picked up for NA release by a publisher that allowed Sony to "break the news" but not put out their name.

It's been confirmed already, publisher's tba.  My guess is Atlus, XSEED, NISA or Ignition.  Maybe even Agetec, Natsume or UFO, but those 3 are less likely as it seems the license was hotly contested for a niche import.

If it's Atlus, I think we'll definitely see a 360 port.
