Of course it is not console exclusive, because it is also released on the PC, and the PC is not a console.

Console exclusive means exclusive to one console.

The term you are looking for would be "exclusive to consoles".

Maybe people just need to use common sense.

First of all, I don't think of PC when I think of video game consoles. I stopped playing PC games because you never knew what change would cause the game not to work.

Second, I don't think of handhelds as the same as consoles.

Third, I personally hate when something that is PS3/Xbox 360 is called "multiplatform." I expect multiplatform to be universally available.

Since that's a bannable offense I believe that it should be also bannable to claim that X console is winning the format war even tho Y really is but Y console shouldn't count because it is NOT an HD console. Wii plays videogames just like Xbox 360 and PS3 so by default there should be no different between the 3 consoles when it comes to claiming winning status.

That thread simply provided a definition.

If you read it again, you would see that there are two terms listed.

One is "console exclusive"-only on one console and pc

the other is "exclusive"- only a one platform, no pc

 

The whole point was to combat people saying "those games aren't exclusive" to exclusive games lists. Of course, the OP will have to write "this is a list of console exclusives for 20**"
