Fine then I rephrase the question:

Will this be the first Wii game with an aggregate score of 90+ to sell over 1 million copies?

There, are you happy now that you made me type out all that b@#%$&*t? People are always trying to argue semantics if the core of a question doesn't tickle their fancy.

Maybe!

But who cares?

people are like that around here.

but by the way, every game that has a 90+ metacritic have sold at least a million copies.

Ok Rol, the DS/Wii comparison thing that you claim 'everybody should look at' (i said the sentence between quotes in a sarcastic manner) is faulty. First of all, Mario Kart DS launched very shortly after the DS launched. And we all know what people thought of the DS when it first came out. (they thought it was a stupid piece of shit) Also, launch games, or games that come out close to the launch period, never tend to perform at the level they could because of a small userbase.

Uh, Mario Kart DS released a full year after DS launch.  It was also one of the first "impressive" 3D titles for the machine (better than N64 visuals @ 60fps locked).  And launch Nintendo games have insane legs anyway, especially the Mario titles.  You really think being a launch game hurt sales for Mario 64, Mario Advance, Mario 64 DS or even Luigi's Mansion!?

yes. and i think TP could have had much better sales if it came out at least a year after the wii was released.

It's the 2nd best selling game in the series?  How much better would you expect?

Again that would be Mario Kart Wii according to people who actually have to go out and buy the game.

its not the second best selling game in the series. and even if it were, it has the sales it has because of the fact it went back to the OoT style, and I think if you let the wii userbase grow a little more, it could have broken the 6 million mark for sure.

Actually, it is the 2nd best seller in the series.  And if it got a budget rerelease like OOT did, it could rise to first.

You're aiming too low.

Also, aren't there supposed to be 8 reasons?

It will pass 11 million. I'd only be surprised if it failed to hit the 15 million mark.
