360 represents the number of degrees in a circle which means the 360 means it does it all around so with this in mind I doubt it would be called 720.

It's just a tentative name until it has an actual name. Thought that was obvious.
It was called Xbox THREE sixty because the PS THREE was coming out and they didnt want people to think the 360 was inferior.
Actually 720 represents a double turn on tricks with skateboards as 360 is a turn
But I don't really know...Maybe it will be more?or 360 2?

I bet they take Nintendo's strategy and never have a consecutive naming scheme.

Isn't it too late? Nowadays almost everybody calls it 720...
I can see in my crystal ball, anyhow, that they WON'T call it XB 6, as 6 was perhaps MS Word's worst version ever.
