Oh please please please. I love AC, I always feel bad though when life gets too busy and I neglect my town. Then Im too lazy to pick a thousand weeds.

No epislon. The way I see this working is each group of friends forms 1 town. That town is named and hosted on a server. Every time you get online you log into your town. Only people with Friend Codes added can join that town.

Nintendo could easily make it their "HOME" for the Wii - the style would fit and all.

They understand the killer potential of the game, so expect some serious online functionality to be in development.

Sharing a town with other friends...even it was like a max of 3 or something, would be awesome...I'd definitely be happy with that.

You could have a VGChartz town!

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

That would encourage a couple PS3 fanboys to get a Wii...just so they could come to our town and chop down all our trees...excellent marketing strategy.

As far as the Wii Home is concerned, Shams....you might be on to something there.  But honestly I would rather they didn't.  The last place Nintendo needs to be right now is in copycat mode.  Let Sony have their little Second Life lite.  There's no way, given the limited functionality of the Wii, that it could ever compete with what Home should be.

Something i was thinking about though....considering that AC is all about running errands...maybe you could put out a sign like "Bring me 5 peaches and this Jingle Carpet could be yours."  Or there could be other trades based around the general chore motif.

Haha that's gold etecoon.
