Cats are awesome, and I love mine, but I reeeeally don't see how they would make for a fun virtual pet.  Dogs are a good idea cuz they actually do a lot of things, like catching balls, chasing frisbees, going for walks, participating in tournaments, etc.  I don't see how cats would work as much more than a screensaver...

Honestly, why hasn't there been nintencats yet? With nintendogs success and their milking of it... it only makes sense.

god I wish miyamoto would get some better inspirado.
His biggest hits had some great reference material, and now it's just random stuff he likes.
Next he's gunna be like "so I've been cooking for myself recently", or, "I've been reading the dictionary...", "I like to sleep a lot"

Or: "I noticed a lot of people go to work a lot, so I thought why not make a game where they can simulate what the do at work when the get home"
