FFIVDS just came out last year, and since FF13 was slated for this year (in Japan) it wouldn't make sense to have FFV come out.

I don't see it happening. I think when they remake them, it'll be on the DS.

I was just saying that Square also loves the PSP, but I still think that it's much more likely that they would put a remake of V or VI on the DS due to the lower cost.

I hope they do the same to FF6 what they did to Chrono Trigger. FF6 had beatiful sprites so i hope they just let it original and release it on DS.

I would much rather something along the lines of the Dragon Quest remakes. 2d sprites+3d world.

They did do that...on the Gameboy Advance. No need to tread the same waters again, when most DS owners can pick up the GBA cart and pop it right into their DS.

Matrix Software just got done with Nostalgia and did FFIV the After Years as well (not sure if they did the porting to WW or what team did localization) so they've had some projects underway but I don't see why FFV and VI won't be coming as well, with the improvements they've done with the engine seen in Nostalgia they could make FFVI so damn beautiful.

V + VI Remakes for DS... Maybe PSP.

VII Remake i think will be at the very end of this gen. On PS3. I think its probably the most wanted RPG game... Ever. Anyone agree?
