Its possible, lets see what ioi decides, he may come back saying all data indicates his numbers are accurate, or he may change

How is it faulty, the fact that its on Handheld vs. console is irrelevant, many titles sell much more on handheld than console, so the idea that a handheld selling less being reasonable is not supported


Dang... GTA is certainly going down hard then...

So.. what's your take with the sales of the Grand theft auto franchise?
Its latest iteration isn't doing so well from what I can see.

@ Cgi: I think he's alluding to the fact that GTA: Chinatown wars is doing LOUSY and according to everyone's best friend in this thread, there's a correlation between console sales and handheld sales for a franchise

Well, it was a perfectly logical retort to what avinash is saying. If avinash is saying that handheld sales also reflect diminished sales for the regular franchise, like he's trying to "show" with tekken, then he would need to keep the same train of thought with GTA and it's doubtful he will do that, so it's a perfect retort to check how ash... replies

To be honest, I haven't given GTA much thought in years, however I don't believe that there is necessarily any difference between handheld and console sales, if people don't buy a game, its because it doesn't deliver what they want, not because its a handheld or a console game, but because it is mediocre in their view, if a game is really worth it, people will buy the system to get it if they don't own it.
