To be honest, I haven't given GTA much thought in years, however I don't believe that there is necessarily any difference between handheld and console sales, if people don't buy a game, its because it doesn't deliver what they want, not because its a handheld or a console game, but because it is mediocre in their view, if a game is really worth it, people will buy the system to get it if they don't own it.
