im hoping for next gen to start 2012-13 but if a new console was announced for '11 i'd probably be indifferent towards it until i found out price , features and launch games.

I would be pissed. I've spent a lot on PS3 this gen from buying the overpriced launch 60gb and later the new 120 gb slim. But I don't think they release one till 2012 at the earliest, maybe even 2013.
