It has to - but it doesn't preclude bad guys from being bad guys, either.

I think Soleron may have randomly assigned aligments to the roles, which could make this very, very complicated.

Since I'm a newbie, one of the things questions I thought of first was whether or not playing a certain character meant you had certain allignments, and Soleron confirmed to that that was not the case. So I knew what you just found out before Day 1

You could be a pro-town turning character, although it is unlikely.
