Edge gives a popular, unreleased game a low score and everyone hates them even more. How many of you played the game from start to finish? How many of you read the review?

None? Thought so.

Honestly, I have no clue if the game deserves it or not. But that doesn't mean I won't respect their opinion, should I ever come to disagree with it. Not like all the fanboy crap that is being spewed in here.

i agree with edge i mean its nothing new, pretty new much super mario bros ds with multiplayer will i enjoy it any less? no

I imagine this game will get a few more 7's from the likes of reviewers like this. Obviously there is a strong bias against Nintendo in the gaming media, so it wouldn't be surprising. Most of them will probably blame it on graphics, sound, and the fact that it's a 2d game.

In the end, I expect it to get in the high-80's to low-90's on Game Rankings or Metacritic.

I found this comment to be particularly strange, as well as their other negative comment (the one about level design). Not because i'm mad that they made negative comments, but they just read rather oddly.

People are looking at what Edge has given other big Nintendo games in the past and seeing a trend which doesn't give edge much credibility

I agree. It makes it seem like the level design is not Mario-like. I completely disagree. It is very classic Mario.
